Christmas Sampler Blocks FINISHED !!!!!

I pieced the final block today for my Christmas Sampler. I LOVE the look!!! But again, I will field ALL suggestions for setting. I'm thinking off white tone on tone sashing or setting on point with off white setting squares with a pretty Christmas fabric for a border (I was at the fabric/yarn store yesterday and saw some awesome fabric!!). It does feel good to finish this project, and except for a couple of small pieces, I totally decimated the Christmas fabric stash!!!! I have 1 1/2 inch squares cut for the double nine patch, which is my next goal to finish.

Blessings to Ya'll !!

An on-point setting would be good but then the quilt would be even bigger than it is in a straight setting.

Wow! They are all lovely....Now you get to "play" with color and settings to make it all come together! Look forward to the finish.

Stunning! Wow, this is really pretty and I like the idea of a light setting - like they fell into snow ;-)

So many fun blocks, Doniene! This will be a beautiful Christmas quilt! On point would be pretty, but how large would it make the quilt?
You may not want to go to this much trouble, but I really like the effect of triple sashing with nine-patch cornerstones. After getting the blocks made I usually just want to get the top finished quickly, but when I take the time for this sashing method I always love it. : )

Your blocks are just wonderful! Now I'm itching to start on my Christmas quilt! So you went to see Debra, huh? :) I love the idea of using a light fabric for sashing. I think it will really make your blocks shine.

Your blocks are beautiful and a light sashing will be nice. This is a good size quilt but if you are using this on a bed then setting on point would be lovely but that will be one big quilt. Can't wait to see what you decide.

It looks fantastic!! I think quilt blocks set on opint look so complicated, but maybe you do not want that big of a quilt:)

Just lovely! I am doing the FWQAL as well, I thought I would stop at 30 blocks...but everytime I see someone posting lots of blocks, I start to rethink! Well done!!

Love blocks set on point, but blocks with sashing between them look great, too. Think it probably depends on what size quilt you want. Whatever you decide, it is going to be a nice Christmas quilt.

I forget what size they are. Did you say 8 inches? On point with simple sashing and cornerstones would be really nice.
