I didn't do "Shirtings" as I'm setting my 6" stars on point and putting them in a box of the same background fabric which is lights/shirtings etc. I didn't have any Over Dyed Green, nor Chrome Yellow.

I like those stars!
Everytime I see these stars on someone's blog, it reminds me of Moda's 'Just One Star' that I got our guild involved in. I started my own a few yrs ago and they turned up awhile back. So I've started trying to make a few more (red and blue). Love them!
Your stars are beautiful! I'm with you - I don't plan on buying any fabrics for these stars. I've got more fabric than I could ever use and it is starting to over flow the bins! Like your chalkboard.
When the stars come out at your house Doniene, they are much more colorful and beautiful than they are at my house :*)
Wow, look at all those wonderful stars! This will be so pretty. I really like that you are setting them on point.
I could supply chrome yellow for you. Probably even have some of those over dyed greens if I take a look through the stash. Want them?
Lovely! You have a wonderful stash of fabrics.
Stars blocks are my favorite! You've made a bunch of lovely ones. Its going to be such a great quilt.
You're tempting me! A combination of Reproduction fabrics and stars are very hard to resist and yours are especially lovely.
Gorgeous stars Doniene!
I'm a bit partial to stars myself :)
CW fabrics have interesting names for colors....some I've heard before and some I haven't. The 6" stars are so pretty....the "More Stars"....the better ! :)
Well you know how much I love stars - and these blocks are gorgeous! Set on point, they re extra special :-) Hugs.
