For Valentine's I made 5 small quilts (one for myself and one for each of my 4 girls) using the nine patches that I had sewn up for a previous project but didn't use and this sweet valentine fabric! Here's the one I made for my oldest daughter. It was available for photos because Gracen uses it for her Dolls!
In the past I have participated in several of Lori's SALs and I finally finished a couple.
This one I finished in time for a Christmas gift for Gracen.
The back with one of my "go to" FMQ designs - free hand Baptist Fans.
And this one which has been in my flimsy pile for quite some time. Nice to get it finished.
Simple diagonal line quilting in the red center squares and one of Lori Kennedy's free FMQ designs: sparkling stars - in the borders.
Several years ago I bought a lot of vintage quilt blocks on ebay, and I took these and made a table topper for my kitchen work table.
A fun addition to the backing - new flour sacks! Again my go to FMQ - free hand Baptist fans! Plus: "I hold it, Nene. I help!"
I'm sure that many of you have noticed that several bloggers have been making a quilt a month from one of their books and patterns. I've thought about doing that, but just haven't purposed to do it - several other UFOs/WIPs taking precedence. But Kathleen Tracey posted a small quilt from one of her books that I just happened to have. I changed up the color scheme a bit and I also call it "Instant Gratification" - I saw, wanted to make it, so I did. All in a couple of days!
From another block (which I DID NOT make - isn't it beautiful!) I made this pillow. It measures about 8" square.
I'm offering this as a giveaway. So if you would like to receive this cute little treasure, just leave a comment saying so. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave me an email, so I can contact you if you win.
Blessings!!!!

You have really been productive . I know you keep busy on the ranch and around your home, so I can't believe you have had time to make all of these lovely projects, too.
So many cute little quilts, and your quilting is wonderful. I'm so impressed with your Baptist Fans!
Your little basket quilt is very cute.
That is such a sweet little pillow--how nice of you to give it away!
You are a wonder.....so busy and productive ALL the time! I love coming to your blog and getting inspiration and seeing your beautiful work. This particular blog gave me some ideas for using up some of my collection of odds and ends. I wondered what you were going to do with those basket blocks since they were so many different sizes. Thanks for sharing with us. Your cute little pillow is lovely!
Wow!! You've definitely gotten ALOT done!!
Beautiful pillow!!
Oh my, you got so many small quilts done. My favorite is the one you made from the Lori Kennedy design.
So busy. I love all your projects. The antique block table quilt is beautiful. I love the feedsack backing. So much eye candy. Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful finishes. Hugs
Wow! Lots of little beauties!
I love the colors in Instant Gratification and the flour sacks on the back of the table topper are such a fun touch.
Lovely little model too :)
So many great quilts! Love how sweet they look.:)
My goodness, you have been busy. You've finished so many projects and I'm having a hard time choosing my favorite. They're all wonderful. Doesn't it feel great to have finished so many? WTG!
Such sweet little finishes. The blue bird bag backing is quite spectacular!! Your girls and grand daughter are lucky ladies. Thanks for sharing!
Loved seeing all your quilting on these little quilts - hope I can get to be that good at it some day! The little embroidered basket on your pillow reminds me of an old hankie - so sweet!
Doniene I love the Baptist Fan but have never attempted it free hand - it was my mother's favorite pattern and I never see it that I don't think about her. And oh my goodness you've finished a lot! I'm stitching as I can but right now we're on a two month mission trip so I just get 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there. I love your appliqued basket and the embroidered one too - both are beautiful, vintage-looking pieces! blessings, marlene
I'm so glad your back, I've missed you! Look how big that precious baby girl is getting ! You motivate me with all your quilts. I bet it warms your heart when Gracen wants to use your quilts for her dolls.
Golly gee, you have been busy - well done on all the gorgeous finishes!!! Gracen sure has grown, she looks such a big girl now, I bet she is a great help for Nene :-) I recognise a couple of those sewalongs - and may even have one waiting to be quilted :-(!! Have I ever said I love seeing the photos on your blog and recognising all the spots!!
So many lovely projects! I know this is a busy time for you. I'm glad to see you have been able to sneak in a few stitches. Looks like you have the perfect assistant - she's getting so big!
