...February - did it only fly by for me?!!!!!
...UFOs - time for the monthly update!
...Finish - I did have a finish this month!! Chocolate Covered Cherries is now on the back of the love seat and I cuddle up with it when I watch TV!!! Plus, Gracen uses it for naps!!!
...Geese - one of my February goals was to assemble all the Christmas FG units into strips!! Yeah! another accomplishment!! Not sure if I will get it assembled this next month or not. I originally wanted to do striped fabric, but I would have to purchase it. I was gifted some yardage of a really pretty red/green/tan plaid so I might use it it there is enough. Just glad to get the "GEESE" in line!!!
...Needle - the sewing machine has been humming and the needle flying! I got completely caught up on the BB Grandmother's Choice blocks! YEAH!!! (Another February UFO goal!!) I am liking this project more and more as I get it assembled! At first I wasn't sure if I liked the red I was throwing in, but I find that I try to put some in almost every block!! And I really like the chain block setting! (Thanks Janet, for inspiring me to use this setting!)
...Hand quilting on TWQ - okay, maybe the needle isn't really flying here, but I have been getting in a lot more time and I'm seeing progress! I had to adjust some of my quilting design and now that I have that all figured out - I'm more excited than ever to get it completed! Here's a sneak peak of TWQ!
I will be linking up over at Carrie's, so you might want to hop over there and see what other's have checked off their UFO list!!
This has been a very, very busy sewing month for me and I have more to show, but that is for another post!!

You know I love Chocolate Covered Cherries!
I'm impressed with your rows of geese. I think the plaid sounds great for it--hope you have enough!
Oh, yes, those chain blocks really tie it all together beautifully!
Doniene, your hand quilting is amazing!
Look at you, meeting all these goal. I need to take lessons from you on staying focused and achieving my goals without getting distracted by every QAL that hits the internet!! : )
Wow, you have been busy. Like all your finishes. Love that setting for the sampler. I'll have to remember that one. I mostly find dull the usual sampler setting of rows of blocks with sashing.
You have obviously been super busy! Congrats on so much progress. Your geese are looking esp. good--lots of work there.:)
Ther may have only been twenty eight days in February but you certainly made good use of them. Lovely finishes and projects, you have been flying.
Great job this month! You have really been busy sewing. I am excited for you. This month flew but we both got a lot done. Your hand quilt is perfection. Congrats!on reaching your goals.

Just look at all of those GEESE! What an accomplishment!
You've accomplished a LOT this month! Congratulations!
More! My you have been busy. I'm glad TWQ got some attention. Such lovely stitches. A stripe would be fabulous to set off the geese but I can see a plaid would look great, too. I'll have to remember the chain block setting. I really like it. I think adding a touch of red was a good idea.
Woohoo!! For Chocolate Covered Cherries and the flying geese lines. :D That chain setting *is* cool. And your quilting stitches are incredibly lovely. I'm drooling. :D
