Wow, the days fly by for me!! I'm mostly making this post to let you, my faithful followers and dear friends, know that I will draw a winner on Monday for the Indigo, Pewter & Honey FQs. So, stay tuned. Plus, if you haven't entered, just go here and leave a comment.
But, I do have couple of photos of projects in progress.
Remember Pam had a cute little SAL "Forget-Me-Not". Well, I finished the flimsy, and it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself - "self, this is pretty cute!!"
I've never done a "leader/ender" project before, though I always chain piece everything I'm working on! But I have a "REAL leader/ender" one now! Christmas FG - they measure about 2 1/4 x 4/12 and I'm going to make a strippy bed size quilt. (I need about 420, and I have about 120 finished!)
Last but not least for this post. Janet O. sent me (she is such a sweetie!!) 4 pieces of solid purple fabrics for Randy's SAL!! So, needless to say, I was "glad" that I was behind, because I got to use them for the last 3 blocks! Aren't the purples just gorgeous!! Thanks, Janet, a perfect addition to my solids!!
Hope each of you are having a wonderful Saturday. It is very cool and misty here! Yeah!!
Blessings Ya'll!!!!

I love your little "Forget-Me-Not". It is very cute, as you told yourself. : )
Oh, that is an ambitious FG project. I love the look of them, but don't love making them. I admire your tenacity.
Oh, the purple blocks are lovely! So glad you could use those purple pieces.
Enjoy your cool weather. Isn't it refreshing?
I just love 'Forget me not'.....very sweet! And I had that same project in mind for my next leader/ender....a flying geese stripey quilt! Too funny! Mine is just scrappy, though, not xmas colors. Can't wait to see your progress! And don't you just love leader/enders......I can't sew a seam now with one! It just feels wrong! lol
Your Forget me not is just darling! Wow...really love seeing those "snippet" pictures of your other 2 projects as well. 420 sections is a LOT of piecework for your Christmas FG. I'm sure it will turn out just stunnning!
That's a lot of flying geese....and your forget me not quilt top is lovely too ( it has pink in it )
Oh, yes, your little SAL is cute, cute, CUTE!
Can't wait to see your Christmas flying geese. What method do you use to make them?
We are in for a cool, rainy Sunday here. A perfect day for stitching!
Your little sampler is so cute!!
That purple solid is so striking! Very nice!
What a cute little sampler!!! And I love the idea of flying geese for leaders/enders! And I just have to say I LOVE your purple SAL blocks!!! YUM!!!
Love the purple blocks, good for you to do the leaders/ending project. And youre for get me not is adorable.
Kind regards,
Marga♥
The forget-me-not is definitely very cute, I'm not surprised you are so happy with it. Are you enjoying having a leader and ender project? I cant sew without one these days - the number of times I hold myself up on something while I organise a leader and ender isn't funny!! Great use of the purple fabrics!
Your Forget-Me-Not Sampler flimsy is wonderful - very sweet and I am smitten with your FG leader enders. I have a dear friend who made a similar FG quilt and it is lovely. What is your favorite method of piecing them? You made darling blocks with the fabric Janet sent you!
