Quilt update!!

Wow, what a wonderful Thanksgiving week we had!! Our youngest daughter surprised us and came home Monday evening. Her Tuesday and Wednesday classes had been canceled!! She stayed until Friday evening. Our son came home Wednesday evening and stayed until Friday late. Our oldest daughter and her husband were home for Thursday. Then Saturday morning we traveled to Weatherford to see them and our second daughter and her husband came from his parent's, so we were able to spend the weekend with them. Such rich times!!!! Didn't get to see our son's fiance' though. Her grandmother had recently passed away and her family spent time in Kansas City.

I did finish all the Christmas small quilts and the girls made their choices. I think they are all pleased, and will enjoy them. And the two left were my favorites!!! I got the Ohio Star from group 1 and the hour glass from group 2.

Group 2 Front and Back

This was a very rewarding project for me!!! Still have a few Christmas scraps/pieces left, so will try to make some potholders!

Blessings

These little quilts are fabulous. I'm sure it means a lot to your children to receive them. Glad your holiday was a happy one!

Sounds like a wonderful holiday with family all around you!
The Christmas quilts turned out beautifully. I bet the girls were thrilled to get them--and I'm glad it worked out that you got to keep your favorites!

Visiting from Leah's Giving Thanks Challenge and I can't even tell you how excitedI was to see a good old-fashioned list in your sidebar! A good and thoughtful list, too. Your Thanksgiving week sounds like it went beautifully and that you were able to see most of your family. That's perfect. Your table quilts are lovely, too. Do you make mug rugs? That's the closest I get to making quilts.
