Barrister Blocks

Just watched the news and the weather is wacko all across the US! Praying for everyone affected by fires, rip tides, super hot weather and snow!! We are one diverse country!!

Well, we're in the HOT part - so I've been sewing in the afternoons. Thus, I'm caught up on Randy's Sow-a-long! For some reason I'm back on monochrome blocks! I really like the new blocks, and then  I put all the blocks together just to see what I've got. I'm liking it more and more!

I'm even liking the blocks just next to each other with out sashing or setting blocks! What do you think?

Have a wonderful weekend! See ya Monday when I draw a winner for the green FQs!

Blessings!!!!

This is so very striking in the solids, and I really like the monochromatic blocks. They are very pretty without any sashing, but in my mind I also wonder how vibrant the colors would appear framed in black.

your blocks look wonderful! I am so far behind on my barrister blocks, I feel bad.

You might audition some sashing, but I really like them side by side. This is going to be a stunning quilt.
