Apple Brown Betty and Barrister's Sow-a-long!

Good evening fellow quiltaholics!!!

Finished Apple Brown Betty!! The flimsy that is!!! I will set it aside to finish some other projects, but a little quilt that I will probably machine quilt later! As you can see, I'm not able to be quite as 'spontaneous' as Cheri. Even when I try, my hst in the middle came out matched!!! And I just couldn't do one HST in the border out of line!! But I think she is very cute!!!

I'm really enjoying Randy's SAL (button in side bar). I wasn't too sure I was liking my choice of using up my scrap solids, but after I put them all together  - I think I can work with it.

Stayed tuned for the "Fabulous Fifteenth Fabric Freebie". I have a little "extra" this month! See ya Thursday!

BLESSINGS TO YA'LL !!

Sweet little Apple Brown Betty! Love it! And the solids on your SAL are great! They focus the shapes of each block so nicely! Beautiful!

Apple Brown Betty is very cute! I love it. I had to laugh when you sounded like me. I have such a hard time putting something out of place on purpose. If it happened by accident I MIGHT leave it, but do it on purpose? Yikes!
Oh, your Barrister's SAL blocks are so vibrant in solids. Wonderful!

You do such nice work! Love Apple Brown Betty - very eye catching. I think the SAL is a very good use of your solids. I can understand your hesitation, but seeing all those block together - well, they look wonderful!
